Cosmic Gate are a trance duo from Germany, made up of Stefan Bossems (known as DJ Bossi) and Claus Terhoeven (known as Nic Chagall), who have been shaping the sound of European trance since their formation in 1997. They built a reputation through relentless touring and a string of high energy productions, from the early club weapon "Fire Wire" to collabs with vocalists like Emma Hewitt and Jan Johnston. Their remix work is just as extensive, covering everyone from DJ Tiësto to deadmau5. Over the years they have put out a steady run of albums, including Start To Feel and the two part Materia series, showing they were never content to stand still. More recently they teamed up with Armin van Buuren on "Reflexion," the anthem for A State of Trance 2023, and dropped the "Mirador" music video late that same year, proof that after more than two decades they are still a serious force in the genre.
