Deep Dish are a Washington D.C. based electronic duo, Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi, who built their reputation on some of the most distinctive remixes in house music. Their 1995 rework of De'Lacy's "Hideaway" put them on the map, and from there they went on to remix heavy hitters like Madonna, Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake. That Grammy they took home in 2002 for their remix of Dido's "Thank You" was well earned. Their debut album Junk Science landed in 1998, blending house, rock and jazzy soul into something that deserved a bigger audience than it got. After disbanding in 2006 to pursue solo work, they briefly reunited in 2014 to drop the single "Quincy" and play Ultra Music Festival. It took until 2024 for a proper comeback, with a full return to touring and the studio. In 2025 they released "Midnight", their first original single in over a decade, featuring Eynka and Wrabel, backed by sold out residencies at venues including fabric in London.
