About
Face to Face are the Victorville, California punk band who turned a song called "Disconnected" into a radio staple. It got heavy rotation on KROQ in Los Angeles and ended up in Tank Girl and National Lampoon's Senior Trip, which helped make 1995's Big Choice their breakout. Formed in 1991 around frontman Trever Keith, bassist Matt Riddle and drummer Rob Kurth, they came up playing the Inland Empire and Orange County alongside the Offspring, Guttermouth and Voodoo Glow Skulls. The lineup shifted over the years. Scott Shiflett took over on bass, Pete Parada replaced Kurth on drums, and the band toured with the likes of Sublime, NOFX and the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and headlined Warped Tour. They called it quits in 2004 after The Only Goodbye Tour, with members drifting into projects like Me First and the Gimme Gimmes and the Offspring. In 2008 they got back together, and they have put out five more albums since.
