About
Fallen Sanctuary grew out of a 2018 tour when vocalist Georg Neuhauser, known from Serenity, and guitarist Marco Pastorino, of Temperance, realised they shared almost identical musical taste. Living only four hours apart helped seal the deal, and the two founded the band in Austria in 2021. The sound they landed on is melodic power metal with a polished European feel: big, driving choruses and carefully crafted compositions. Their debut album Terranova came out in 2022. Live, the duo is backed by a full rhythm section with bassist Gabriele Gozzi and drummer Alfonso Mocerino rounding out the lineup.
