Famke Louise built her following on YouTube before pivoting hard into music, and the pivot paid off fast. Her 2018 single "Fan" with Ronnie Flex hit a million streams in a single day and shot straight to number one on the Dutch Single Top 100. She kept the momentum going with a string of releases including "Evoluatie", "High", and "Slangen", then teamed up with Ronnie Flex, Idaly, and Bizzey for "Wine Slow (Remix)". By 2019 she was winning the FunX Music Award for Female Artist of the Year, the first ever recipient in that category. Her debut album NEXT arrived in November 2020, the same year she went undercover as Monkey on the Dutch version of The Masked Singer and released a documentary exposing the Chinese fur industry.
