About
Jeremy Ledbetter Trio is a Toronto jazz group built around pianist Jeremy Ledbetter, who draws on musical traditions from all over the world and folds them into his jazz playing. The result is a layered, high energy sound where serious chops and sheer enjoyment of playing go together. Their second album, Gravity, won a JUNO Award for Jazz Album of the Year and has been streamed more than a million times worldwide. Alongside Ledbetter you get drummer Larnell Lewis, a Grammy winner known for his work with Snarky Puppy, and bassist Rich Brown, who has played with Steve Coleman's Five Elements. It's a tight trio that pairs technical finesse with an infectious groove.
