About
Everything Yes comes out of North Carolina and plays an energetic brand of jazz fusion that sits right at the crossroads of funky grooves and genuine musical surprise. The five piece grew out of jam sessions between university friends at East Carolina University, with drummer and YouTuber Zack Grooves as the driving force. The band takes sprawling improvisations and shapes them into tight, rhythmically inventive tunes built around catchy saxophone melodies. Live, they embrace risk, leaning into a philosophy of creativity, openness, and saying yes to whatever the moment brings. Think Vulfpeck colliding with Sungazer and you are somewhere in the ballpark.
