About
Jeremy Pinnell is a Kentucky bred alternative country and Americana artist whose debut album OH/KY on SofaBurn Records put him on the map back in 2014. His sound sits in that honest, worn in corner of country music where the songs feel lived in rather than polished. His follow up, Ties of Blood and Affection, arrived in 2017 and kept that same gritty thread running through his work. In 2021 he released a cover of the Concrete Blonde classic Joey, originally written by Johnette Napolitano, as a standalone single ahead of his third full length record Goodbye L.A., also out on SofaBurn. The album came with a run of singles including Wanna Do Something, Night Time Eagle, and Big Ol' Good, showing he had plenty to say heading into that release.
