Jude York is an Australian singer songwriter and self producing musician whose 2024 single 'Those Were The Days', released through Spinnin' Records and Warner Music, blends dance pop production with a nostalgic melody drawn from an Eastern European folk tune. It went viral on TikTok early on, racking up over 4 million views and 300,000 likes, and his track 'Slipping Through My Fingers' has since crossed 30 million views. He handles his own production, which gives his emotionally driven pop a distinctly personal feel, somewhere between indie pop and full on electropop. Before the viral moment hit, York was already putting in the work, competing in Australia Decides for Eurovision 2022 with his ballad 'I Won't Need to Dream' and building a following through independent releases like 'Mr Porcelain' and 'Cashew'.
