About
Also known as: Kink
KiNK is the Bulgarian producer Strahil Velchev, and he's best known for live sets built on improvisation and reading the room. Resident Advisor readers voted him Best Live Electronic Act in both 2015 and 2016, and in 2018 MusicRadar went a step further and called him the best live electronic act in the world. On record, he put out the vinyl track "Same Old Thing" in 2005 and has worked with labels like Ovum and Rush Hour. His debut album Under Destruction arrived on Macro in 2014, followed by Playground on Running Back in 2017. In 2018 he started his own label, named after his hometown Sofia. He also releases music as Kirilik, and as a duo with his partner Rachel Row.
