About
Fronted by singer, musician and songwriter Ralf Mastwijk, KLINKT GOED is a Dutch language indie pop rock band from Dordrecht. Their sound sits at the crossroads of indiepop, alternative rock, new wave and kleinkunst: melodic, band driven and direct, with hooks that stick and lyrics that hit close to home. Two albums, Mijn Rotterdam and Genoeg, already sit in their back catalogue. Their third record, HET SPOOR, marks a shift in perspective, moving away from personal chaos toward bigger themes: the relentless pace of modern life, screen culture, social unrest, climate, inequality, relationships, silence, regret and the longing to feel present again. None of it is heavy handed though. The songs are delivered with energy, humour and a knowing undertone that keeps things from getting too bleak.
