About
Adriaan Persons is a Dutch musician, songwriter and producer who got his first big break on the TV show X Factor in 2013, making it all the way to the semi finals. That same year he shared a stage with Gavin DeGraw on Radio 538. He went on to become a core member of the band Rondé, where he played keyboards and co wrote much of their material, including their hit "Run". In 2020 he stepped away from the band to focus full time on writing and producing for other artists. That pivot paid off: he co wrote "Perfect" by Lucas & Steve, a track that crossed 100 million streams and earned him a Buma Award in 2021. He has also put pen to paper for Di rect, Ilse DeLange, BLØF and Maan, among others. In late 2023 he finally stepped into the spotlight as a solo artist with his debut single "Vanavond komt ze naar mij", followed in early 2024 by "Dopamine".
