About

Krezip built their reputation fast. The Tilburg pop rock band's second ever single, "I Would Stay", hit number one on the Dutch Top 40 and became the third biggest song of 2000, propelled in large part by a breakout set at Pinkpop that year. Signed to Warner Music, their debut album Nothing Less went triple platinum in the Netherlands. After a brief stint with Sony BMG and a more disco and electronica leaning fourth album Plug It In, the band called it quits in 2008, with their farewell single "Sweet Goodbyes" landing at number two on the Dutch Top 40. Their final show was at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam in 2009. A decade later Krezip came back, releasing "Lost Without You" and returning to the Pinkpop stage where it all started. Drummer Bram van den Berg kept busy in the meantime, stepping in as U2's live drummer while Larry Mullen Jr. recovered from surgery in 2023 and 2024. More recently, Krezip teamed up with Danny Vera for the track "It All Means Nothing (You're Not Here Now)".
