About
Laura Tesoro put Belgium on the Eurovision map in 2016 when she won the Eurosong selection with "What's the Pressure" and finished tenth in the Stockholm final. Before that she had already built a name for herself as Charlotte on the Flemish soap opera Familie and as the runner up on season three of The Voice van Vlaanderen, where she sang under Team Koen. Her debut single "Outta Here" landed in the Belgian charts that same year. On the music side, her singles "Higher" and "Beast" (the latter complete with a boxing themed video) marked a confident step into upbeat, danceable pop. Her debut album, led by the single "Limits", followed in 2019. She has also lent her voice to Flemish dubs of Trolls and Vaiana, and spent years as a coach on The Voice Kids Vlaanderen. A 2020 collab with Loïc Nottet, "Strangers", showed she is just as comfortable trading vocals as going it alone.
