German pianist LEVI.SCT, born Levi Schechtmann in 1999, has built a reputation around dismantling the boundaries of classical music. Rather than playing it straight, he weaves the emotional depth of composers like Chopin and Rachmaninov together with hip hop and electronic beats, landing somewhere cinematic and genuinely hard to categorise. The result comes across less as a recital and more as a full sensory experience, one that connects listeners across generations. His second studio album, Classified Fusion, pulls together classical, jazz, house and salsa alongside his own compositions. Live, that breadth translates into something theatrical and physically charged.
