Lily Fitts broke through in a pretty organic way: her rewritten version of Noah Kahan's 'Stick Season' racked up over two million TikTok views in 2023, and Kahan himself reposted it. That kind of co sign set things in motion fast. The Massachusetts singer songwriter works in a space where indie folk meets alt country, leaning into stripped back acoustic production and lyrics that don't flinch from heartbreak, anxiety, and grief. After spending 2024 and into 2025 supporting acts like Michael Marcagi, Sam Barber, and Myles Smith, and playing festivals including Bonnaroo and Summerfest, she put out her debut album Getting By in June 2025 on Thirty Knots Records. The ten track record is the kind of debut that feels like it's been lived in, not rushed. She also made her UK debut at BST Hyde Park alongside Noah Kahan and Gracie Abrams, which is a pretty striking first impression on that side of the Atlantic.
