About
Model/Actriz make noise rock and post punk that doesn't sit still. Formed in Boston and now based in Brooklyn, the four piece built a reputation as one of the most visceral live acts around, with Rolling Stone describing their shows as 'an explosion of outrageous noise, raw physicality, and communal joy.' Vocalist Cole Haden is a big part of that, his onstage presence so commanding that one publication claimed it 'literally arrives before him and leaves days after he has left.' Their 2023 debut Dogsbody landed an 8.2 on Pitchfork and earned Bandcamp Daily's album of the day, setting the stage for a spot at Primavera Sound in Barcelona. Their follow up Pirouette dropped in 2025, led by the single 'Cinderella', which Pitchfork flagged as a Best New Track. Haden has also been pushing into songwriting for other artists, co writing 'Prelude', the opening track on Miley Cyrus's ninth studio album Something Beautiful.
