About
Mood Bored is a three piece from Tilburg that plays raw, experimental shoegaze with pop hooks buried in the noise. They like to set things against each other: loud against soft, sharp against hazy, organic against digital. Lyrically they sit somewhere between nihilism and hope, with the feeling of trying to find your place in the world running through it all. The band got picked for 3voor12 Popronde in 2022 and have since released two EPs, Bored in 2023 and Too Much? in 2025. They've built a strong live reputation, supporting the likes of Sorry, Gurriers, Wolf Alice and Nation of Language, and selling out headline shows in the Netherlands and the UK. Their debut album was recorded at Black Mountain Studios in Ireland with David Noonan of Just Mustard producing, and the first single from it is called Skin.
