About
Muylike is the project of Stijn Post, a dreamy indie pop songwriter who made a name for himself in Utrecht after a successful run through Popronde. People still argue about how to pronounce the name, but the songs are far easier to get a grip on: jangly, pastel coloured melodies with choruses you can sing along to after a single listen. Think Parcels or boy pablo, with a good dose of carefree summer nostalgia. Behind the laid back look and easy smile, Post is a hard worker. Darling is his third album in four years, written during a stretch of creative highs and personal lows, and it works as both a love letter and a break up record. He teamed up with Marta Arpini, FUZZY TEETH and Judy Blank on it, blending melancholy with notes of hope.
