Noga Erez built her sound by scrapping a nearly finished jazz album and pivoting hard into electronic music, and that gamble paid off. Her 2017 debut Off the Radar, co produced with her partner Ori Rousso and released on City Slang, immediately caught serious attention, with The New York Times singling out her single 'Toy' for its jittery, restless production and haunting Middle Eastern melodic undertones. She draws from a wide palette, citing Flying Lotus, Björk, Frank Ocean and Kendrick Lamar as reference points, and the results land somewhere between experimental pop and sample based hip hop. Her 2021 follow up Kids earned her a spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and by 2022 she had signed to Neon Gold/Atlantic Records, opened for Florence and the Machine at Madison Square Garden, and landed collaborations with Weezer and Missy Elliott. Her third album, The Vandalist, arrived in September 2024 featuring Robbie Williams, and the track 'DUMB' has been getting a live airing since.
