About
Las Vegas deathcore act Ov Sulfur hit the ground running when vocalist Ricky Hoover decided to return to music after years away from it, forming the band in 2020. Their sound is built on ferocious heaviness and unapologetically anti religious lyrics, and they wasted no time making connections in the scene. Their 2021 debut EP Oblivion pulled in guest vocals from Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying and Nick Arthur of Molotov Solution, and the band signed to Century Media in 2022. Their debut full length, The Burden ov Faith, arrived in 2023 and included a collaboration with Alex Terrible of Slaughter to Prevail. They kept the momentum going with a string of singles leading into their second album, Endless, released in January 2026 through Century Media. The recent vocal playthrough for the track Forlorn, featuring both Hoover and guitarist Chase Wilson, gives a good taste of where the band is at right now.
