About
Also known as: Sophie Hertenstein
panicbaby makes dark, cinematic alt pop that blends vulnerability with glamour, wrapping it all in the restless energy of the internet age. The German singer songwriter builds her music around raw confessional lyrics and emotionally charged storytelling, paired with nostalgic visuals that give her work a distinct atmosphere. Her track 'Claw Marks' went viral and helped push her total stream count past 45 million. The EP 'f u jonathan' was widely celebrated, and support from BBC Radio 1 and COLORS brought her to a broader audience. Spotify named her one of its Artists To Watch for 2026, and she sold out her first European headline tour.
