About
Also known as: Georgia Willacy
Pip Millett's debut single 'Make Me Cry' quietly racked up over 23 million Spotify streams and a Colors Show performance that pulled in more than five million views, which tells you a lot about how she connects with people. The Manchester born singer and songwriter works in a space where UK R&B, neo soul and alternative sounds blur together naturally, and her voice is the through line in all of it. Her cover of 'Try a Little Tenderness' crossed 10 million streams, and the EP track 'Heavenly Mother' sits above 15 million, numbers that arrived without the usual major label machinery behind them. Her third EP Motion Sick, released with Dream Life Records and Sony Music in 2021, featured a collaboration with Ghetts and showed a slightly harder edge alongside her more introspective side. Around the same time she landed a spot on Later with Jools Holland and made the BBC Radio 1Xtra Hot For 2022 list. Sold out shows across the UK followed, cementing a reputation built on genuine word of mouth rather than hype.
