Few artists pull off the trick of making you want to dance and cry at the same time quite like Robyn. The Stockholm born pop architect built her reputation on exactly that tension: upbeat, floor filling production wrapped around lyrics that gut you if you actually listen. After a run of US top 10 hits in the late 1990s with "Show Me Love" and "Do You Know (What It Takes)", she walked away from a major label deal, started her own imprint Konichiwa Records, and came back sharper for it. The self titled 2005 comeback album put her back on the map internationally, with "With Every Heartbeat" hitting number one in the UK. Then came Body Talk in 2010, a trilogy of mini albums that landed "Dancing On My Own", now widely treated as her signature track. She later teamed up with Röyksopp for the Do It Again EP and with La Bagatelle Magique for Love Is Free, before releasing the widely praised Honey in 2018.
