Slayyyter built her name the old school internet way, dropping tracks on SoundCloud and racking up hundreds of thousands of plays through Stan Twitter before she ever had a label behind her. The St. Louis artist blends brash, sex positive lyrics with slick electropop and hyperpop production, and her 2019 self released debut mixtape peaked at number 4 on the iTunes Pop Chart almost entirely on word of mouth. Her song "Daddy AF" later turned up in two notable films, Bodies Bodies Bodies and Anora, which says something about how her sound has embedded itself in pop culture. Since then she has put out two proper studio albums, Troubled Paradise in 2021 and Starfucker in 2023, and a third album, Worst Girl in America, arrived in early 2026 on Columbia Records. Along the way she has toured with Charli XCX, Kesha, and Tove Lo, and completed three solo tours of her own. Her early collaboration with Ayesha Erotica, including her debut single "BFF", helped define the chaotic, unapologetic energy that still runs through everything she does.
