With over 100 million records sold, Shania Twain is the best selling female artist in country music history, and her 1997 album Come On Over remains the best selling studio album ever by a female solo artist. That record alone moved more than 40 million copies worldwide and produced twelve singles, including "You're Still the One", "That Don't Impress Me Much" and "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!", earning her four Grammy Awards. Billboard called her the leader of the 1990s country pop crossover wave, and the numbers back that up completely. Her previous album, The Woman in Me, was already a massive breakthrough, selling over 20 million copies and landing her a Grammy with "Any Man of Mine". After a long hiatus caused by Lyme disease and dysphonia, which seriously damaged her voice, she worked her way back and returned with a Las Vegas residency, a farewell tour, and eventually her 2017 comeback album Now. Her sixth studio album Queen of Me followed in 2023, showing no signs of slowing down.
