About
Sherpa Steps pull from pretty much every corner of the globe, blending jazz, film music and Eastern melodies with their own compositions into something that feels genuinely hard to pin down. The five piece plays entirely acoustically and has a particular fondness for unusual, atmospheric settings. In recent years they have added arrangements of Renaissance pieces to their repertoire, reinterpreting that older material in ways that are distinctly their own.
