Sick of It All have been a cornerstone of the New York hardcore scene since forming in Queens in 1986, and by 2020 had moved well over half a million records worldwide. Brothers Lou Koller on vocals and Pete Koller on guitar anchor the band alongside drummer Armand Majidi and bassist Craig Setari, a lineup that took years of shuffling to solidify. Their 1989 debut Blood, Sweat and No Tears sold over 100,000 copies and is still cited as a blueprint for New York hardcore, but the band hit a wider audience with Scratch the Surface in 1994, which landed them on major label East West Records and produced the singles 'Scratch the Surface' and 'Step Down'. From Fat Wreck Chords to Century Media, they kept recording and touring through decades of lineup chaos and label changes, releasing their most recent album Wake the Sleeping Dragon! in 2018.
