Few artists can claim the kind of double legacy Stevie Nicks has built. She joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975 as a package deal with Lindsey Buckingham, and the two helped turn the band into one of the best selling acts ever, with over 120 million records sold worldwide. The album Rumours alone went 21 times platinum in the US and is ranked among the greatest albums ever made. Her songs "Rhiannon", "Landslide", and "Dreams", the band's only US number one, are all on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs list. Her solo run is just as striking. Bella Donna, her 1981 debut, went straight to the top of the Billboard 200 and earned her the title "Reigning Queen of Rock and Roll" from Rolling Stone. She has put out eight solo studio albums in total, selling a certified 65 million copies in the US across her solo and Fleetwood Mac work combined. In 2019 she became the first woman ever inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, having gone in once with Fleetwood Mac in 1998 and again as a solo artist.
