Stray Kids (KR)

About

Also known as: SKZ, スキズ, ストレイキッズ, 스키즈, 스트레이 키즈

Stray Kids are an eight member South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment in 2017, and what sets them apart in the K pop landscape is that they largely make their own music. The core production unit, 3Racha, consists of members Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, with the rest of the group frequently jumping in on songwriting too. Their sound pulls from electropop, pop rap, and trap, and their track "God's Menu" is widely considered their signature song. The numbers behind their career are hard to ignore. They became the first act ever to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 with their first nine consecutive entries, and as of mid 2026 they have shifted over 40 million albums across Korean and Japanese releases. Their Japanese debut single "Top" hit the top of the Oricon Singles Chart straight out of the gate, making them only the fourth foreign male act to pull that off. "Lalalala" from Rock Star was their first appearance on the Billboard Hot 100, and 5 Star became just the third album in South Korean history to be certified for five million copies sold.
