About
Telenova are a Melbourne alt indie trio with a sound that roams freely across art pop, trip hop, blues and electronica, all anchored by Angeline Armstrong's striking vocals. The band came together in 2020 and made an immediate impression with debut single "Bones", which premiered on Triple J's Home and Hosed and sold out their first headline shows almost instantly. Their debut EP Tranquilize and the follow up Stained Glass Love built a devoted following before the group stepped up to full album territory with Time Is a Flower in 2024, debuting at number two on the ARIA Top 20 Australian Albums chart and landing on Rolling Stone Australia's list of the 50 best Australian albums of that year. The trio is rounded out by multi instrumentalists and producers Edward Quinn and Joshua Moriarty, who shape the band's layered, cinematic productions alongside Armstrong's filmmaking sensibility.
