About
The Dead Daisies run on high octane hard rock and a genuinely stacked roster of musicians. Formed in Sydney in 2012, the band has always been anchored by guitarist David Lowy, while pulling in players who have done time with Guns N' Roses, Whitesnake, Mötley Crüe and Black Sabbath. Their self titled debut landed in 2013, and the lead single 'Lock N' Load' had a co write and guitar contribution from Slash, which tells you exactly the kind of territory the band plays in. Their career has had no shortage of memorable moments. They opened for ZZ Top, hit the road with Aerosmith across Australia and New Zealand, and joined the massive Uproar Festival alongside Jane's Addiction and Alice in Chains. In early 2015 they made history as the first American rock band to play Cuba since trade ties with the Obama administration reopened, performing a sold out show at Havana's Maxim Rock Club and finishing with a set in front of over 6,000 fans at the Concert for Peace.
