About
Thundermother is a Swedish hard rock band fronted by guitarist Filippa Nässil, who founded it and has stayed at the helm through a long run of lineup changes. The four women draw their sound from AC/DC and Motörhead, but a modern production gives them a polish that also brings to mind The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm. The band has put out several albums over the years, and they have a live record called Live'n'Alive as well. Mothers Of Thunder is among their album titles too. Our database lists them as originating in Preston in the United Kingdom, though the band itself is described as Swedish. If you like your riffs big and your guitars loud, this is the kind of band that delivers just that.
