About
The Hara are a three piece rock band out of Manchester, Josh Taylor on vocals, Zack Breen on guitar, and Jack Kennedy on drums, and they have built a serious live reputation since forming in 2017. Their fifth EP Play Dead hit number one on the iTunes chart across all genres, and they kept that momentum going through festival slots at Download, Reading and Leeds, and Slam Dunk. They also went viral on TikTok during lockdown, which helped grow a fanbase well beyond the usual rock crowd channels. In 2023 they put out their debut album SURVIVAL MODE through Scruff of the Neck, made their US live debut at SXSW, and spent much of the year on sold out UK and European runs. More recently they have been dropping official music videos at a steady pace, including Easier To Die, Violence featuring As December Falls, and Twist The Arrows, suggesting the second album they teased in early 2024 is well on its way.
