YUNGBLUD, the stage name of Doncaster's Dominic Harrison, makes the kind of loud, genre blending music that refuses to sit still. His sound pulls from alternative rock, rap rock and pop rock, and his lyrics tend to orbit political and social themes alongside candid reflections on his own mental state. His self titled third album landed at number one on the UK Albums Chart in September 2022, shifting over 22,000 units in its first week and marking his second chart topper in the country. The record featured collaborations including Willow on the track "Memories". In 2025 he released "Idols", which includes "Zombie", a track written largely in tribute to nurses during the pandemic. The song earned him Grammy nominations in three categories: Best Rock Song, Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance. Artists he cites as influences range from The Beatles and Bob Dylan to Arctic Monkeys, Eminem, Taylor Swift and The Clash, which gives you a pretty good sense of just how wide he casts his net.
