About
Three brothers from Las Vegas, Remington Leith, Sebastian Danzig, and Emerson Barrett, make up Palaye Royale, a rock act blending alternative rock, glam rock, and garage rock into something with serious attitude. They started out as Kropp Circle playing acoustic soft rock, then rebranded in 2011 taking the name from a Toronto dance hall where their grandparents met. That detail alone tells you something about the romantic theatricality baked into their whole thing. They hit an early milestone in 2014 as the first unsigned band to win MTV's Musical March Madness, beating out Linkin Park along the way. Signed to Sumerian Records in late 2015, they went on to release five full albums, including the two part Boom Boom Room series and later records like The Bastards and Fever Dream. Drummer Emerson Barrett is also a visual artist, and his artwork regularly features at the band's fan merchandise events. Their fanbase is notably devoted, organizing their own Palaye in the Park meetups across multiple countries.
