About
Chris and Steven Martinez have been two of the most talked about names in house music since landing a residency at DC10 in Ibiza back in 2011, a spot they've held ever since. Mixmag crowned them DJs of the Year in 2014, calling them the "crown princes of DC10" and saying no other act captured house music that year quite like they did. Mentored early on by DJ Dennis Ferrer, who signed them to his label Objektivity, the Bronx brothers built their rep through relentless touring, playing Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, Rock in Rio Lisboa, and Detroit Electronic Music Festival among many others. Outside the booth, they created the soundtrack for Givenchy's fall/winter 2014 and spring 2015 collections working directly with Riccardo Tisci, ran the Tuskegee label with Seth Troxler, and launched their own imprint Cuttin' Headz. Nile Rodgers also handpicked them as the only non Chic collaborators on his album It's About Time.
