The Sound of Springsteen is a live concert experience built around the music and legacy of Bruce Springsteen. Rather than a straight tribute act, it combines live performance with storytelling, taking audiences through Springsteen's catalogue from well known anthems like Born in the U.S.A. and The River to deeper cuts across his broader body of work. The narrative side is handled by Leon Verdonschot, a writer, presenter and self described passionate Springsteen fan, who guides the evening between songs. Backing him on stage is a full live band that includes Tim Akkerman, Joost Marsman of IOS, Sanne Monster and Dennis Kolen. The result is part gig, part journey through one of rock's most celebrated catalogues.
