Top 2000 Live is a Dutch band built around one of the Netherlands' most beloved musical traditions: the Radio 2 Top 2000 chart, which has grown from a simple countdown into something close to a national institution. The group brings that tradition onto the stage, performing over sixty songs drawn from the full sweep of pop history, spanning well known classics, unexpected one hit wonders and crowd pleasing singalongs from both Dutch and international repertoire. Fronted by singers William Kersten and Talita Angwarmasse, the band is known for tight, high energy performances that keep audiences on their feet from start to finish. The show is directed by Marc Forno. Year after year the same faces return, treating the concert as a fixed date in their calendar, which says plenty about what the group has built.
