Wegsfeer is a Belgian group that throws itself headlong into the new wave sound of the 1980s, playing classics from the genre with the kind of raw energy and attitude you'd expect from four young musicians who clearly love this stuff. Their live shows are sweaty, high intensity affairs where standing still is pretty much out of the question. Think pounding rhythms, jagged guitars, and the unmistakable spirit of 1985 brought roaring back to life. They describe themselves as a time machine, and that's not far off: seeing them play feels less like a tribute act and more like the decade simply never ended.
