Waylon Wyatt's whole career got kicked off by a single TikTok video. He was working construction for his dad in Hackett, Arkansas when a friend talked him into posting his original song "Everything Under the Sun", and the thing pulled over 100,000 views overnight. Labels came calling within a week, and he signed to Darkroom Records. His debut EP Til the Sun Goes Down followed in July 2024 and included "Arkansas Diamond", a track that racked up over 50 million streams and eventually went gold. Wyatt's sound sits somewhere in the middle of country, red dirt, folk and americana, drawing comparisons to Tyler Childers, Wyatt Flores and Zach Bryan. He keeps production deliberately sparse, favouring raw vocals and acoustic guitar with as little layered on top as possible. His second EP Out of the Blue, released in 2025, marked the first time he recorded in a full studio setting with a band. His debut album Dustpiles arrived in July 2026.
