Sam Barber grew up on a farm in Frohna, Missouri, and went from posting covers on TikTok to landing a platinum single before most artists figure out their sound. His 2022 track "Straight and Narrow" was his first to chart in the US, and "Indigo" featuring Avery Anna pushed him onto the Billboard Hot 100 in 2024. Both are now RIAA platinum. He released his debut album Restless Mind in November 2024, a sprawling 28 track record that hit number 48 on the Billboard 200. Along the way he made his Grand Ole Opry debut, opened for Ed Sheeran, and played Bruce Springsteen's BST Hyde Park series. His country sound leans into honest, emotionally direct songwriting, and his EP cut "Save Me" is a personal favourite of his, a ballad he wrote about mental health struggles.
