Zomboy is the project of Josh Mellody, a dubstep producer and DJ from Penzance who built a devoted following on the strength of his hard hitting, zombie themed electronic sound. His debut EP Game Time landed in the Beatport dubstep top five for more than eight weeks in 2011, which got his music picked up by major labels like Warner and Ministry of Sound for compilations. His influences include Skrillex, Rusko, and Reso, and that lineage comes through clearly in his wall of bass approach. His debut album The Outbreak dropped in 2014 on Never Say Die Records, the independent label he also used to launch his career. Since then he has kept a steady release pace across EPs like Neon Grave and Rott N' Roll, with remixes packaged alongside each one. His most recent work continues under the Dead Man Walking series, keeping the undead aesthetic very much alive.
