Quirine Viersen is a Dutch cellist whose playing is characterised by a powerful yet supple tone. She performs a wide stylistic range, moving comfortably between Baroque composers such as Sweelinck, Romantic heavyweights like Dvořák and Schumann, and twentieth century figures including George Crumb.
