Enschede
Since 1995, Grote Kerk has served as the third music venue for Podium Twente in Enschede. The church's nave accommodates 400 guests and hosts chamber music, baroque and early music, choral music, world music, and organ performances in an atmospheric setting. A notable feature is the restored Lambertus van Dam organ, originally built in 1892.
About New European Ensemble
Based in Den Haag, New European Ensemble is a chamber ensemble with a strong affinity for contemporary and spiritually charged music. They are closely associated with the work of Sofia Goebaidoelina, whose radically expressive sound world and poetic mysticism sit comfortably in their hands.
