About Slapstick

Slapstick may have only been active for a few years in the mid 1990s, but the Elgin, Illinois punk ska band left a legacy that far outlasted their short run. Drawing on Operation Ivy and the raw vocal energy of Crimpshrine, they built a sharp, propulsive sound that earned them a devoted following in the Chicago scene.
