Queens Of The Stone Age have opened a 24/7 complaints hotline where anyone can call in with their grievances. The number is +1 (760) 437 1966.
Queens Of The Stone Age are taking complaints seriously. On Wednesday, August 5, the band led by frontman Josh Homme launched a complaints hotline available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, where fans, friends and enemies alike can call in with all their frustrations. You can reach it on the American number +1 (760) 437 1966, and the band promises that every complaint will be personally reviewed, with possibly a live ear on the other end of the line.
In a press release, the band invites everyone to complain freely: "fans, friends, and foes" are welcome to share their "gripes and grievances, moans and groans, chagrin', carpin' and any judgments they wish to pass." The band adds: "No bitching too big. No whiny too tiny." Whether Homme or other band members will actually pick up the phone themselves has not been officially confirmed, but both sources suggest that is indeed the intention.
The launch of the complaints line comes during a busy period for the band. In July they released the new track 'Easy Street', their first single since the 2023 album 'In Times New Roman...'. The song had already been performed live during their 'Catacombs' tour. They then served as the opening act for System Of A Down on their European and UK stadium tour, during which they dusted off tracks from the 2007 album 'Era Vulgaris', among others.
Queens Of The Stone Age are currently supporting Foo Fighters on the North American stadium tour 'Take Cover'. The tour dates run through September, with shows in cities including Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia and Vancouver. Mannequin Pussy and Gouge Away are also on the bill for select shows. In October the band will also play in Iceland for the first time since 2005, with a concert in Reykjavik on October 24. A run of shows in Japan follows in November.
For Dutch music fans there are no European dates on the schedule for now, but anyone who wants to get something off their chest with one of the most influential rock bands of recent decades at least knows where to turn.
