Bleood, the alias of Jamari Spencer, makes rage rap that sounds like it's running at twice the recommended speed. Operating out of Florida and New York, he built his early reputation inside Xaviersobased's collective 1c34 under the name Deffici1e, before stepping out on his own and forming the group #back with rapper Yuke. The Fader put it well, describing his sound as rage rap with everything turned up to 11, powered by producer yrsci's brutalizing 808s. His mixtape run has been relentless. After dropping Pain in late 2025 and following it with Rascal 51, he surprise released Protagonist in May 2026, a move that earned him a spot on The Fader's list of the 32 coolest artists of 2026 so far. His track "Alucard" landed on Pitchfork's weekly 10 to Hear list, and he made his Rolling Loud debut in Orlando the same month. Underground rap has a new main character.
