With nine number one singles and over eight million albums sold globally, Delta Goodrem is one of the biggest names in Australian pop. Her debut album Innocent Eyes spent 29 weeks at the top of the ARIA Albums Chart, making it the second best selling Australian album of all time with more than four million copies shifted worldwide. What makes that run even more remarkable is that she wrote most of it herself, leaning heavily into piano driven ballads that became her signature sound. Her second album Mistaken Identity was recorded while she was undergoing treatment for cancer, which tells you plenty about her commitment to the craft. She went on to score four consecutive number one albums in Australia, with Wings of the Wild and Bridge over Troubled Dreams continuing that run. Outside the studio, she spent eight seasons as a coach on The Voice Australia, and in 2026 she represented Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Eclipse, finishing fourth and securing the country's second best result in the contest's history.
