About
Eleine is a Swedish metal band built around vocalist Madeleine Liljestam and guitarist Rikard Ekberg. Formed in 2014 and based in Malmö, they started out releasing music independently before building up an international touring profile that has taken them across concert halls, festivals and events like 70,000 Tons Of Metal. Along the way they have opened for acts including Moonspell, Myrath, Kamelot, Arch Enemy and Sonata Arctica. Their sound sits where symphonic grandeur, melodic death metal bite and tightly arranged hooks all meet. Albums like Until The End and Dancing In Hell helped establish them, and they have since released We Shall Remain on Atomic Fire Records. Singles such as Enemies, All Shall Burn, We Are Legion and Stand By The Flame show how well they balance accessibility with genuine darkness. Live, the visual side of their show carries just as much weight as the music itself.
